I painted my first dragonfly last year as part of my series on birds, animals, and insects and I wanted to paint one before the end of the Challenge. I love to sit outside and watch them dart from one part of the yard to another, occasionally taking a quick dip on the pool surface. They seldom rest and so it is difficult to capture them at rest. Hope you enjoy this painting.
